Hollywood actor Hugh Grant has made a generous donation of £20,000 to Depher, a Burnley-based community interest company that offers free plumbing and heating services to vulnerable people. The "wonderful and humbling" donation, as described by Depher founder James Anderson, will "give hope to thousands" and allow the organization to continue providing vital assistance to those in need.
This isn't the first time Grant has supported Depher. He previously donated £55,000 to the organization, bringing his total contributions to £75,000. Depher relies on donations to operate and this latest gift will play a crucial role in helping them continue their essential work.
