Morgan Spurlock, ‘Super Size Me’ Director, Dies at 53

 Documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock passed away recently at the age of 53. 


Spurlock was best known for his 2004 film "Super Size Me," where he documented the negative health effects of eating nothing but McDonald's for a month. The film was a critical and commercial success, even receiving an Academy Award nomination. 
 Spurlock died from complications of cancer on May 23rd, 2024. His death is a loss to the documentary filmmaking world.
