NATO Secretary General meets the President of Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg recently met to talk about continued support and collaboration between the two organizations. The summit, which took place in Kyiv, reaffirmed NATO's support for Ukraine in the face of its ongoing war with Russia. NATO will continue to give Ukraine substantial military and financial support, underlining the importance of this assistance for both Ukraine's defense and the security of NATO member nations. This was stressed by Stoltenberg.


President Zelenskyy conveyed his appreciation for NATO's unwavering support and the noteworthy contributions made by its member nations during their conversations. In order to fight threats from drones and missiles, he underlined the significance of having defensive systems of the highest caliber and the urgency with which these systems must be delivered. NATO remains committed to assisting 
Ukraine in modernizing its armed forces, as stated by Stoltenberg.

Additionally, the leaders discussed the strategic roadmap for Ukraine's path to NATO membership. Zelenskyy highlighted the readiness of Ukraine to work closely with NATO to develop an adapted Annual National Program and a comprehensive roadmap for achieving full interoperability with NATO forces.
