Bears outlast Vikings 12-10 on fourth field goal by Santos after fourth interceptions of Dobbs
The Chicago Bears placekicker Cairo Santos kicked his fourth field goal of the game, a 30-yarder with 10 seconds left, to lift the Bears to a 12-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.
The Bears defense intercepted Vikings quarterback Joshua Dobbs four times, including twice in the fourth quarter to set up the winning score.
Santos, who missed a 41-yard field goal attempt on the opening drive, made field goals of 26, 39 and 43 yards before hitting the game-winner.
The Vikings offense struggled for most of the night, with Dobbs completing just 13-of-27 passes for 115 yards. He also fumbled the ball three times, losing one.
The Bears offense wasn't much better, with quarterback Justin Fields completing just 15-of-28 passes for 153 yards. He also lost two fumbles.
However, the Bears were able to capitalize on the Vikings' mistakes. Eddie Jackson returned one of Dobbs' interceptions 37 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.
The Bears' victory snapped a three-game losing streak. The Vikings lost their second straight game.
