Brad looks set to hit £100,000 jackpot as Deal Or No Deal fundraiser doubles overnight

Brad Wale from Bridgnorth is on track to hit a £100,000 jackpot after a fundraiser set up to help him after his emotional appearance on Deal Or No Deal doubled in size overnight.

Brad appeared on the ITV show last week and left the audience in tears when he told host Stephen Mulhern about his battle with life-limiting condition Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Brad had entered the show to win some money to tick off his bucket list and leave something for his family.

Unfortunately, Brad left the show with just £5. However, his story touched the hearts of viewers, and fellow Deal Or No Deal contestant Rochelle Hughes set up a fundraiser to help him raise the money he needed.

The initial target was £20,000, but by Wednesday morning the total had already reached over £40,000. By Thursday afternoon, the total had doubled to over £86,000.

In an update on the fundraising page on Wednesday night, Rochelle said: "I didn't think that I would be updating so many of you. I just want to say a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are all incredible.

"I spent two weeks with Brad as we recorded the show, and he is the most kind, genuine, and funny person you could ever meet. He is an inspiration to us all, and I am so grateful that we have been able to raise this money to help him and his family."

The money raised will help Brad to tick off some of his bucket list items, such as visiting Australia and going to the Grand National. It will also provide much-needed financial support for his family.

Brad's story is a heartwarming example of the power of human kindness. It shows that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.
