Daniel Ricciardo delights fans with surprise appearance at country singer Zach Bryan’s sold-out Melbourne show

Formula One star Daniel Ricciardo sent shockwaves through the crowd at a sold-out Zach Bryan concert in Melbourne on December 9th, 2023, with a surprise appearance alongside Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy.

The show was Bryan's only Australian performance during his Quittin' Time Tour. As the final song approached, Ricciardo and Kennedy joined Bryan on stage for an electrifying rendition of Bryan's hit song "Revival."

Ricciardo's unexpected appearance was met with ecstatic cheers and applause from the thousands of fans in attendance. Many took to social media to express their delight at the surprise performance.

"Daniel Ricciardo singing Revival is the best thing to happen this year," one fan tweeted. "Imagine being at a concert with Zach Bryan, Dermot Kennedy and Daniel Ricciardo all on the same stage," another added.

Ricciardo's love for Bryan's music is no secret. Earlier this year, he posted a video of himself singing "Revival" on his social media accounts, further fueling speculation about a potential collaboration.

During the concert, Bryan even paid tribute to the Aussie driver by doing a "shoey," the iconic celebration where a winner drinks a beverage from a shoe.

Ricciardo's impromptu performance was a highlight of the evening and a testament to the growing popularity of both Bryan and Ricciardo in Australia. It also served as a reminder of the power of music to bring people together from different backgrounds.
